Approve Conflict Waiver for Kris Carlson to represent Fort Huachuca.
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3), the Board may go into Executive Session for legal advice with the attorney of the public body.

Background:
Kris Carlson formerly represented Cochise County. Kris left the County on November 3, 2023. Ft. Huachuca has now hired Mr. Carlson to represent them. He and Ft. Huachuca have asked the County to waive any conflicts of interest, and to execute a conflicts waiver. The County Attorney will be recommending approval.

Mr. Carlson could not participate in confidential discussions among the County and other parties should the interests of the County and Ft. Huachuca become unaligned.

Have the Board Chair execute the waiver, have the County Attorney and Mr. Carlson sign it, then distribute the executed waiver to the parties.
