Discussion and possible direction regarding County animal shelter agreements and projects.
Background:
The Board held a work session on animal shelter projects and agreements on August 22, 2023. At that meeting, the Board requested a follow-up work session to discuss partnership agreements. The outlook has changed since August. Staff will update the Board on discussions with other entities, and provide an update on the Tovreaville Road project.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Staff will receive direction on how to proceed with animal shelter partnership agreements.
