Approve Memorandum of Understanding between Cochise County and Cochise County Facilities Department for the obligation of $75,859.09 for the purchase of updated HVAC air filters in County public facilities to improve indoor air quality and mitigate the risk of exposure to infections like COVID-19.
Background:
Under the ARPA Rules, funds for installation and improvement of ventilation systems can be used for projects that respond to the pandemic’s public health impacts and provide longer-term benefits, including the inspection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, repair, replacement, and upgrading of HVAC systems to improve indoor air quality in facilities.

Proceed with purchase and installation of upgraded air filters.
