Dockets RZ24-26 and SU24-25: An applicant-initiated request to rezone APN 407-83-006 from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) and a concurrent Special Use Authorization request for an Impound Storage Yard. The undeveloped 40-acre parcel is located on Denham Road, approximately 1/4 mile east of Highway 191 near Douglas.
Background:
The county received concurrent rezoning and special use authorization requests from Pedro De Castro (applicant) to rezone APN 407-83-006 from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to allow an Impound Storage Yard. The property is located on the north side of Denham Road, approximately 1/4 mile east of Highway 191 near Douglas. The applicant proposed subdividing the parcel into four 10-acre parcels, using one for an impound yard and the remaining three for single family residences.
