Accept the resignation of County Recorder David W. Stevens, effective February 28, 2025.
Background:
David W. Stevens has served as the Cochise County Recorder for 16 years, demonstrating commitment and dedication to the residents of Cochise County. On January 17, 2025, Mr. Stevens formally submitted his resignation, stating his intent to step down from the position effective February 28, 2025. This agenda item allows the Board to formally acknowledge and accept his resignation and consider any necessary steps regarding the transition and appointment of a successor in accordance with state statutes.
