Docket RZ25-07: An applicant-initiated request to rezone APN 408-34-005C from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to LI (Light Industry District). The property totals about 92 acres and is located along the east side of James Ranch Road, about 3/4 mile south of Highway 80.

Background:

The county received a rezoning request from Tactical Holdings LLC (applicant) to rezone approximately 92 acres (tax parcel 408-34-005C) from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to LI (Light Industry District). The property is located along James Ranch Road south of Highway 80 and proposed warehousing and storage land uses are intended to support commerce-related activities associated with the new Port of Entry west of Douglas.
