Adopt Zoning Ordinance 25-12 to rezone tax parcel 408-10-015 from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) pursuant to the application of Daniel Barnett (Supervisor District 2).
Background:
The County received a request from Daniel Barnett (applicant) to rezone tax parcel 408-10-015 from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres). The property totals about 10 acres and is located at the approximate northeast corner of James Ranch and Puzzi Ranch Roads west of Douglas.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the county zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcels will remain RU-4 and future development will conform to applicable use, site development, and building code requirements of the RU-4 zoning district.
