Approve the Proclamation dedicating the Kevin Pyles' Legacy Archives and Hall of History in memory of Kevin Pyles.
Background:
Kevin Pyles served Cochise County with distinction, compassion, and a deep commitment to public service. Throughout his tenure, Kevin was a devoted steward of public records and an advocate for transparency, professionalism, and the preservation of local history. His work left an enduring impact on the County’s archival integrity and on the many colleagues and residents whose lives he touched.
To honor Kevin’s memory and the legacy he built, the Cochise County Treasurer’s Office has coordinated the creation of the Kevin Pyles’ Legacy Archives & Hall of History within Building C of the Melody Lane Complex. The archive room has been marked with a commemorative sign, installed by Facilities staff, and will serve as a permanent space dedicated to the preservation of public records and the history of the County.
