Adopt Zoning Ordinance 25-15 to rezone tax parcel 404-02-027 from RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) pursuant to the application of Shane Harmon (Supervisor District 2).
Background:
The County received a request from Shane Harmon (applicant) to rezone tax parcel 404-02-027 from RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres). The property totals about 5 acres and is located at the northeast corner of Mohave Street and Ute Avenue in Desert Sky subdivision near McNeal.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the county zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcel will remain RU-2 and future development will conform to applicable use, site development, and building code requirements of RU-2 zoning district.
