Adopt Zoning Ordinance 25-16 to rezone tax parcel 408-11-009 from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to GB (General Business District) pursuant to the application of Alfonso Munoz (Supervisor District 2).
Background:
The County received a request from Alfonso Munoz (applicant) to rezone tax parcel 408-11-009 from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to GB (General Business District). The property totals about 27 acres and is located along the south side of Highway 80 between Plantation Road and Kings Highway west of Douglas.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the county zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcel will remain RU-4 and future development will conform to applicable use, site development, and building code requirements of RU-4 zoning district.
