Agenda Item Text:
Adopt Resolution 25-22 to Authorize the addition of roads within Kings Ranch at Coronado located in Hereford to the Cochise County Maintained Road System.
Background:
This portion of Kings Ranch at Coronado is currently being developed. Therefore, the infrastructure of roads is necessary to adhere to the Assurance agreement entered into by Pioneer Title and Cochise County. This phased section of Kings Ranch at Coronado has been built to a county standard for a chip-sealed road. The builder has supplied engineering reports and “as-builts” of the segments, and it has been inspected by the County Engineer. Per A.R.S. § 11-822(C) Streets fully completed in accordance with the approved plat and written specifications made by the County Board, the County shall accept the street in the county maintenance system. With the information provided, the County Engineer recommends the adoption of these segments of road to the County Maintained Road system.
Fiscal Impact & Funding Sources: Annual maintenance of this 1.954 miles of road will be included in the annual Highway User Revenue Funds report and included in Public Works maintenance budget.
