Presentation, discussion and possible direction regarding the accreditation status and legal compliance of voting machines intended for use in upcoming elections.
Background:
On June 19, 2025 the Board met to discuss Vice Chairman Crosby request for a work session to explore the technical, administrative, and legal dimensions of voting machine accreditation. The goal is to ensure the Board is well-informed of its responsibilities and risks under state and federal law prior to any policy deliberation or operational decision-making. The Arizona Secretary of State's office has been invite to participate in this work sessio, as well as Paul Rice, an independent anaylsis.
