Adopt the Tax Rates and Levies for Cochise County Taxing Entities as set forth in the attached Exhibit.
Background:
Pursuant to ARS Section 42-17151 (A), on or before the third Monday in August each year the governing body of each county...shall fix, levy and assess the amount to be raised from primary and secondary property taxation; designate the amounts to be levied for each purpose; fix and determine a primary and secondary tax rate that produces a calculated amount equal to the amount to be raised.
