Discussion, possible action, and possible executive session to approve the transfer of funds to the Facilities Department to install a new fire alarm system at the Cochise County Jail located at 203 N. Judd Drive, Bisbee, Arizona, in the amount of $399,410.

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) (for discussion or consultation for legal advice with the County’s attorney) and A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(9) (for discussion of matters relating to county jail security systems), the Board may vote to hold an executive session regarding this item.

Background:

This project will replace outdated components with an upgraded system designed for improved reliability, efficiency, and integration with other building safety measures. The new system will enhance emergency preparedness and response, support operational continuity, and provide long-term benefits through modernized equipment and technology.
