Background:
The County received a tentative plat from Calvin Housley (applicant) to develop an 8-lot residential subdivision northeast of Benson in the Pomerene area. The 36-acre parcel is zoned RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) and is located at the southwest corner of N. Pomerene and N. San Pedro Ranch Roads (APN 208-36-003). The Planning and Zoning Commission has the responsibility to review all tentative plats to ensure they comply with applicable regulations and serve the public interest and making a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors.
