Approve the State Grants-In-Aid award for fiscal year 2025-2026, for the purpose of enhancing library services for the public, in the amount of $25,000, effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026
Background:
Cochise County has been awarded $25,000 for State Grants-In-Aid for FY 2025-2026. The Library District uses State Aid to supplement budgeted items: travel and training, books and library materials, professional services and supplies. This is an annual award which the Library District has received in past years.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The Library District will use the State Grants-In-Aid funds to enhance library operations.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Library District will not receive funds.
