Docket SUB25-02: An applicant-initiated request for a 9-lot subdivision on APN 208-36-003. The property totals 36.44 acres and is zoned RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres). 

Tabled by the Commission at the August 13, 2025, meeting. The Commission must first make a motion, second, and vote to remove from the table.

Background:

The County received a tentative plat from Calvin Housley (applicant) to develop a 9-lot residential subdivision northeast of Benson in the Pomerene area. The 36-acre parcel is zoned RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) and is located at the southwest corner of N. Pomerene and N. San Pedro Ranch Roads (APN 208-36-003). The Planning and Zoning Commission has the responsibility to review all tentative plats to ensure they comply with applicable regulations and serve the public interest.

This item was tabled until the September 10, 2025, regular meeting. The Applicant and Staff jointly request that the item be tabled to the October 8, 2025, Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to allow the applicant additional time to make adjustments to the application and plat as requested by the subdivision committee.
