Approve the retention of outside counsel Joe Kanefield, of Snell & Wilmer, LLP, to represent all Cochise County defendants in Groover v. Antenori, et al., Cochise County Superior Court, Case No. CV202500676.
Background:
Groover v. Antenori, et al., Cochise County Superior Court, Case No. CV202500676, is pending. Retaining experienced outside election counsel will ensure timely and effective representation and support the County Attorney’s Office in managing filings and court appearances under the accelerated timelines typical of election-related matters. This item seeks approval to engage Joe Kanefield for that purpose.
