Approve Amendment 2 to Agreement 23-128-28 between Cochise County and the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry (ADCRR), canceling such agreement for detention academy training, effective upon execution.
Background:
Cochise County Sheriff's Office has developed its own detention academy and no longer needs to send its recruits to Department of Corrections for training.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
CCSO will continue to train it's new Detention Officer recruits.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
ADCRR will request an extension of the agreement.
