Adopt Zoning Ordinance 26-02 to rezone tax parcel 404-02-303 from RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) pursuant to the application of Brittney Meyst (Supervisor District 2).

Background:

The County received a request from Brittney Meyst (applicant) to rezone 5 acres from RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres). The property is located in Desert Sky subdivision near McNeal and the applicant intends to develop the property for residential use utilizing the owner-builder program.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

The department will update the zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The parcel will remain RU-2 and future development will conform to applicable use and site development standards of the RU-2 zoning district.
