Adopt Zoning Ordinance 26-05 to rezone 5 acres out of tax parcel 202-24-001C from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to GB (General Business District) pursuant to the application of Stan Chaffin (Supervisor District 3).
Background:
The County received a request from Stan Chaffin (applicant) to rezone 5 acres from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to GB (General Business District) to allow business uses. The property totals about 35 acres and is located at the southwest corner of Joe Hines and Packing Plant Roads near Willcox.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The rezoning area will remain R-36 and future development of the property will conform to applicable use and site development standards of the R-36 zoning district.
