Information
Agenda Item Text:
Adopt Zoning Ordinance 26-06 to rezone 5 acres out of tax parcel 202-05-001 from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) pursuant to the application of Mario Hernandez (Supervisor District 3).
Background:
The County received a request from Mario Hernandez (applicant) to rezone 5 acres from R-36 (Residential District, one dwelling per 36,000 square feet) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to allow agriculture-related sales. The property is located at the southeast corner of Fort Grant and Ingram Roads near Willcox.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The rezoning area will remain R-36 and future development of the property will conform to applicable use and site development standards of the R-36 zoning district.
