Adopt Resolution 26-11 designating Monica Miranda as Chief Fiscal Officer responsible for submitting the Fiscal Year 2027 Annual Expenditure Limitation Report (AELR).
Background:
Pursuant to ARS §41-1279.07(E), each political subdivision is required to annually designate a Chief Fiscal Officer responsible for submitting the Annual Expenditure Limitation Report (AELR) to the Auditor General by July 31, and to certify the accuracy of the report. The subdivision must also notify the Auditor General of any changes in the designated individual.
Monica Miranda has served as the designated Chief Financial Officer for AELR submissions from FY22 through the current fiscal year. This item requests approval of a resolution to continue this designation for the FY27 AELR submission.

Submit notification of the designated Chief Fiscal Officer to the Arizona Auditor General.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Failure to approve this item will result in noncompliance with ARS §41-1279.07(E) and will prevent the County from submitting the current fiscal year’s Annual Expenditure Limitation Report.
