Approve Cochise County’s withdrawal from participation in the Cochise County Tourism & Economic Council (CCTEC) in accordance with the termination provisions of the IGA.
Background:
Cochise County is a participating party to an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA), dated September 2, 2025, supporting the Cochise County Tourism & Economic Council (CCTEC), a regional economic development initiative. The IGA provides for cooperative funding and administration of tourism and economic development efforts among the County and participating municipalities.
Pursuant to Section VIII (Term and Termination) of the IGA, any party may terminate its participation upon providing at least sixty (60) days written notice to the Designated Fiduciary Agent.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If the Board does not approve withdrawal, Cochise County will remain a participating member of the Cochise County Tourism & Economic Council (CCTEC) under the terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement.
