Review proposal from CGI Communications, Inc. to produce videos for the Cochise County website at no cost to the County; provide direction to staff.
Background:
Jim and Gussie talked with Program Manager Amy Curran in mid January regarding CGI Communications cost-free County Showcase Program. We watched videos that have been produced for other counties. In all, 10 short videos (30seconds) would be produced on topics of our choice ranging from a welcome segment, to education, quality of life, relocation, economic development, tourism, etc. CGI develops the video with input from the County, but provides all the writing, filming, editing and music. Videos are updated every 3 years.
Jim and Gussie met with Mike and Katie and showed them some of the videos that had been developed and how the advertising works. A decision was made to present the program to the Board and invite a CGI representative to conference in or come to the meeting.
