Community Development - Planninig & Zoning

Board discussion and direction on 1) proposed amendments to the Cochise County Comprehensive Plan to include certain policies codifying the need for federal government agencies to coordinate with the County; 2) proposed administrative/technical support to the Public Lands Advisory Committee (PLAC) by staff and possible changes to PLAC bylaws; and 3) the county's overall involvement with coordination efforts on state/federal agency land-use planning actions. This is to ensure local government consideration into federal agency land-use planning and actions, specifically as they relate to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA).
