Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Cochise County Board of Supervisors and to the general public that the Board of Supervisors will hold a meeting open to the public for the purpose of deciding whether to go into executive session. If authorized by a majority vote of the Board, the executive session will be held immediately after the vote and will not be open to the public.

This executive session is authorized under A.R.S. § 38-431.03, Subsection (A), paragraphs 3 and 4.

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) and (4), the Board may vote to go into executive session for discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body or discussion or consultation with the attorneys of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the public body's position regarding pending or contemplated litigation.
Retain A. Blair Dunn as attorney to intervene on behalf of Cochise County in Defenders of Wildlife et al v. Jewell et al, CV14-2472-TUC-FRZ at a cost of $2,500, not including any appeal.
