WHY THIS ACTION IS NECESSARY:
This action is required by Rule 41-2, Florida Administrative Code (FAC), which states that the LCB shall evaluate the CTC annually.
SUMMARY EXPLANATION/BACKGROUND:
41-2, FAC states that the LCB will annually provide the MPO with an evaluation of the CTC’s performance relative to Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (CTD) and local standards and the performance results of the most recent Transportation Disadvantaged Service Plan (TDSP).
A. The LCB Review Committee met on April 21, 2025 to review the fiscal year (FY) 2023-2024 CTC Evaluation Workbook and to provide recommendations and comments to the LCB for approval. In addition, they also turned in surveys as part of the evaluation process. Both the Workbook with proposed updates and changes (using the "strikethrough-and-underline method") as well as the surveys are provided in Attachment 1. The recommendations and comments of the LCB Review Committee are summarized in Attachment 2.
B. After reviewing the CTC’s performance, the LCB Review Committee made the unanimous recommendation that the Broward County through BCT should continue as the CTC.
The CTC will be available at the meeting to address questions and comments regarding the evaluation.
