The Broward County Transit (BCT) Transit Development Plan (TDP) serves as the strategic guide for public transportation in Broward County over a 10-year planning horizon. BCT conducts a Major Update to the TDP every five years, and the most recent TDP Major Update was completed in 2024. The TDP Major Update included an assessment of demographic conditions within the service area, an evaluation of existing transit services and performance, market research and public involvement activities, identification of short- and long-term operational and capital needs, and development of a funding strategy to maintain and enhance transit service over the planning period.

The 2026–2035 TDP Annual Update, found in Attachment 1, builds on the 2024–2033 Major Update by refining the implementation program and identifying planned operational and capital improvements to the BCT system. The update highlights accomplishments during fiscal year (FY) 2025, outlines planned services and projects for FY 2026, and presents updated recommendations for the remaining years of the planning horizon, including the addition of a new 10th year (2036). The 2026–2035 Annual Update is the second of four annual updates to the 2024–2033 Major Update.
