Safe Streets 4 Broward - Safety Dashboard Demonstration
SUMMARY EXPLANATION/BACKGROUND:
In 2022, the Broward MPO and Broward County partnered to receive a $5 million grant award through the United States Department of Transportation Safe Streets and Roads for All funding program. The partners have used the funding to develop the Broward Regional Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (approved by the Broward MPO Board February 12, 2026), a joint commitment for countywide implementation strategies to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. One of the products of the planning effort is a Safety Dashboard to monitor progress toward achieving safety goals. The Safety Dashboard displays crash data from 2018-2024 with an interface that allows for customization of displayed crash information.

MPO staff will provide a demonstration of how to use the Broward Safety Action Plan Safety Dashboard as part of the Safe Streets 4 Broward program and be available for questions or comments.
