The MPO’s Complete Streets and other Localized Initiatives Program (CSLIP) provides funding for small local transportation projects which improve the safety and mobility for all transportation users in Broward. This competitive grant program can fund projects such as (but not limited to): complete streets projects, traffic calming and intersection improvements, ADA upgrades, mobility hubs, bike racks and technology advancements such as transit signal priority and traffic control devices.

For the upcoming CSLIP Cycle 6, MPO staff have made updates to the Cycle 5 application based on observations and feedback. The intent of these changes is to streamline the application process for agencies submitting CSLIP projects for consideration.

At the upcoming TAC meeting, MPO staff will make a brief presentation (provided in Attachment 1) and go over the new and improved application for CSLIP Cycle 6. The workshop will include a brief overview of the changes made to the application, a walk-through for the new application, and a Q&A session. The workshop's agenda is included in Attachment 2.
