Notice of Administrative Modifications to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 - 2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
SUMMARY EXPLANATION/BACKGROUND:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requested to modify three projects in the FY 2024-2028 TIP (see Item 1-3). As a result, the Broward MPO approved administrative modifications for the following projects:
1. 448102-1 SFRTA Rolling Stock SEFTC TRIP:
The reallocation of $3,500,000 in SU funds from FY 2026 to FY 2024 was made through an administrative modification. This adjustment did not necessitate approval from the MPO Board, as it did not meet the criteria for an amendment. Executive Director Gregory Stuart officially approved this modification on October 12, 2023. For more information, please see Attachment 1.
2. FM# 446200-1 SR-820/PINES BLVD FROM I-75 NORTH ON-RAMP TO E OF NW 118TH AVE:
The adjustment involved the inclusion of $28,129 in local funds into the project. This administrative modification did not necessitate approval from the MPO Board, as it fell below the thresholds for an amendment. On behalf of Executive Director Gregory Stuart, the Broward MPO's Director of Operations & Budget, Renee Cross, granted official approval for this modification on November 1, 2023. For more information, please see Attachment 2.
3. FM# 421548-6 SR-93/I-75 INTRCHNG @ ROYAL PALM BLVD FR GRIFFIN RD TO ROYAL PALM BLVD:
The adjustment involved revising the "ACNP" funding for Construction (CST) in FY 2025 from $26,907,379 to $26,807,379 to reflect what is currently shown in the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). This administrative modification did not necessitate approval from the MPO Board, as it fell below the thresholds for an amendment. On behalf of Executive Director Gregory Stuart, the Broward MPO's Director of Operations & Budget, Renee Cross, granted official approval for this modification on November 1, 2023.
