Metro Transportation Engineering and Construction Cooperative (MTECC) Update
SUMMARY EXPLANATION/BACKGROUND:
The Metro Transportation Engineering and Construction Cooperative (MTECC) was created pursuant to Chapter 163.01 Fla. Stat. by Interlocal Agreement on May 31, 2022, as recorded with the Clerk of the Court for Broward County, Florida. The need for the creation of MTECC arose during the Mayors and Elected Officials Roundtable based on FDOT's decision to end delivery of federally funded off-state highway system projects using LAP.
An overview of the newly formed MTECC shall be presented by Lowell Clary, Interim Executive Director of MTECC. For the PowerPoint presentation, please see the Attachment. Questions and comments will be addressed at the meeting.
