Approval of this item will authorize the MPO to engage Whitehouse Group, Inc. under the existing Advancing Strategic Initiatives Agreement to help the MPO deliver "best practice" products and services in light of impending executive-level retirements and the political and financial hurdles that MPOs are facing nationwide.

In March 2022, the MPO Board approved an agreement with Whitehouse Group, Inc. to provide consultant services for Advancing Strategic Initiatives (for the Agreement, please see Attachment 1) that will advance the strategic initiatives developed by the MPO Board as documented within the MPO's Strategic Business Plan (found at https://www.browardmpo.org/core-products/strategic-business-plan).

To better prepare for executive-level retirements and the political and financial hurdles that MPOs across the country are facing, the MPO is proposing Task Work Order No. 18 under the existing Advancing Strategic Initiatives Agreement. Under the Task Work Order, the consultant will conduct a services and skills assessment and develop job descriptions and titles, a staff alignment plan, and a financial alignment plan.

For more information on the proposed Task Work Order No. 18 with Whitehouse Group Inc., please see Attachment 2. The Task Work Order provides for the services mentioned above until June 30, 2026, at a cost not to exceed $198,378.40. MPO and consultant staff will be available at the upcoming meeting to address any questions and comments.

MPO staff recommends approval of the proposed Task Work Order No. 18 with Whitehouse Group, Inc. for Organizational Restructuring in an amount not to exceed $198,378.40.
