REQUESTED ACTION:
MOTION TO APPROVE: Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between Broward MPO and MTECC for Administrative Support Services
WHAT THIS ACTION ACCOMPLISHES:
Approval of this item will allow MTECC the assignment of certain defined administrative and transportation development responsibilities to the BMPO, which will provide MTECC with industry leading professional services and the most efficient means to deliver these services.
SUMMARY EXPLANATION/BACKGROUND:
At its May Board Meeting, The Broward MPO Board approved an Interlocal Agreement for Services, for the Broward MPO to provide to MTECC certain defined administrative and transportation development responsibilities. These services are to be performed by BMPO staff and BMPO consultants, having unique experience in the administration and use of federal and state transportation funding options for the development of transportation related projects. Both core and optional services that could be provided are listed as Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" to the agreement.
