Approval of this item will allow Board Member Jane Reiser of Hillsboro Beach to attend MPO Board meetings virtually for the entirety of her time on the MPO Board, or until she is no longer a primary caregiver to a family member.

According to the MPO Rules, 2.04.10.B, "A Board Member no more than three times in a calendar year may request the Chair...permission to participate in Regular, Special meetings or Workshops, via communications media technology only as long as a quorum of Board Members are physically present at the meeting." 

Due to being the caregiver for a seriously ill immediate family member, Board Member Jane Reiser of Hillsboro Beach has requested a waiver of the three-times rule for virtual attendance. For the request from Board Member Reiser, please see the Attachment.

MPO staff will be available at the upcoming meeting to address any questions or comments.
