REQUESTED ACTION:
MOTION TO APPROVE the LCB Bylaws
WHY THIS ACTION IS NECESSARY:
This action is required by Chapter 427, Florida Statutes (FS); Rule 41-2, Florida Administrative Code (FAC); and the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Planning Grant Agreement. Each year the LCB Bylaws must be reevaluated by the LCB.
SUMMARY EXPLANATION/BACKGROUND:
The Bylaws of the LCB serve to guide the TD coordination process for the LCB in Broward County. These rules provide general procedures and policies for the LCB for fulfilling the requirements of Chapter 427, FS; Rule 41-2, FAC; and the TD Planning Grant Agreement.
The LCB Review Committee met on April 1, 2024 and reviewed the LCB Bylaws in accordance with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged’s (CTD's) most recent Local Coordinating Board and Planning Agency Operating Guidelines document, found in Attachment 1.
This year, the LCB Review Committee felt that no changes (other than edits for format and consistency) were needed to the Bylaws. To view the current LCB Bylaws, please see Attachment 2.
