Approval of this item will allow Broward MPO to continue to provide secure and efficient administrative and financial management functions through an up-to-date enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Since 2017, BS&A Software LLC has provided support and maintenance of the MPO's enterprise recourse planning (ERP) system. This ERP system provides administrative functions to the agency, including general ledger, accounts payable, cash receipting, purchase orders, fixed assets, miscellaneous receivables, payroll, and human resources. This sole-source ERP system allows Broward MPO to manage core functions across our agency, with the added functionality of allowing the integration of other necessary software such as attendance tracking and inventory management programs that help us increase our efficiency and productivity. The current Agreement with BS&A Software LLC provides these software maintenance services through September 30, 2025.

With the current Agreement soon coming to a close, staff are seeking to enter into a new Agreement for these services with BS&A Software LLC. The proposed new Agreement will provide for three years of continued access to the ERP software with two one-year extension options. The contract not-to exceed amount of $188,031 will cover the entire five years of the Agreement. For the proposed Agreement with BS&A Software LLC, please see the Attachment.

MPO staff recommends approval of the proposed Agreement with BS&A Software LLC for Enterprise Resource Planning Software as a Service (SaaS) for a total amount not to exceed $188,031.
