The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is currently updating its 2050 Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Multimodal Unfunded Needs Plan (MMUNP). The SIS MMUNP is one of four plans produced by FDOT as part of its SIS Funding Strategy and represents a compilation of transportation projects on or that impact the SIS that promote increased mobility and reduce congestion, but funding for those projects is not expected to be available during the 25-year timeframe of the SIS Funding Strategy. As part of the update to the SIS MMUNP, FDOT is coordinating with partner agencies, including the MPO, and is seeking input on these unfunded projects. Specifically, FDOT is seeking input on the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan’s (MTP) unfunded project list, which was compiled from partner agencies' submissions as part of the 2050 MTP development.
