Call to Order and Pledge

Meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m.

Verbal Roll Call

Roll was called and it was noted a quorum was present.
 
The following items were taken out of order on the Agenda.

Approval of Minutes - October 8, 2020 MPO Board meeting and workshop; November 12, 2020 MPO Board workshop
 
Motion made by Ana Ziade, and seconded by Howard Clark, to approve. The motion passed by unanimous consent.
 
4.
Approval of Agenda

Motion made by Ana Ziade, and seconded by Sandra Welch, to approve. The motion passed by unanimous consent.
 
5.
Public Comments

No members of the public spoke.
 
6.
Approval of Excused Absences

Board Members Lamar Fisher, Irene Kirdahy, Lawrence Martin, and Beverly Williams were marked as excused.
Motion made by Sandra Welch, and seconded by Andrea McGee, to approve. The motion passed by unanimous consent.
 
7.
MOTION TO ELECT OFFICERS to Serve the Remainder of the Term, January 2021 Through June 2021:
 
A list of nominees was read by the General Counsel and opened the floor for nominations. No additional nominees were recognized.
Motion made and duly seconded to appoint the uncontested nominee, Mayor Ziade as the Small Municipalities Representative. The motion passed by unanimous consent.

General Counsel noted that Commissioner Byron Jaffe and Mayor Lynn Stoner were each nominated for the At-Large Representative to the Executive Committee. Both were given time to present their qualifications. In a roll call vote, Mayor Stoner was elected At-Large Representative by a vote of 17-12.

The following were elected to serve the remainder of the term, January 2021 Through June 2021:
Executive Committee - Small Municipalities Representative: North Lauderdale Mayor Ana Ziade
Executive Committee - At-Large Representative: Plantation Mayor Lynn Stoner
