Recommendation/Action Requested and Justification
Discuss/take action on approval of an agreement between Atascosa County Sheriff's Office and NCIC for Inmate Mail scanning to be performed by NCIC at a designated facility; preventing dangerous contraband from entering the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office and jail, protecting the safety of county employees. The program will be provided by NCIC at no cost to Atascosa County. This contract has been reviewed and approved by the County Attorney's Office. This program will begin May 15, 2024.
