In accordance with Texas Government Code 614.051 concerning the purchase of a firearm by an honorably retired peace officer, the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office respectfully requests that the Atascosa County Commissioner’s Court approve the sale of a Glock Model 19, Serial Number BRXT653, to retired Lieutenant Deputy Sheriff Norma Jordan.

The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office commissions Lieutenant Deputy Sheriff Norma Jordan and will honorably retire on January 9, 2026. The firearm in question is not classified as a prohibited weapon under Section 46.05 of the Texas Penal Code. The Commissioner’s Court will determine the cost of the firearm.
