Discuss and/or take appropriate action to approve or deny the Affiliation Agreement with Atascosa County EMS and Somerset ISD. Somerset High School currently offers an EMT Program for High School Students. Per National Requirements, all EMT students must obtain Clinical Hours in an Ambulance. Somerset ISD has requested this affiliation agreement in order for their High School Students to obtain their required hours with Atascosa County EMS subject to legal review and approval by the County Attorney's Office.

Discuss and/or take appropriate action to approve or deny the Mutual Aid Agreement between Atascosa County EMS and Lonestar Ambulance Service, LLC. Lonestar Ambulance Service, LLC currently has a contract with Methodist Atascosa to provide inter-facility transfers. This ambulance is stationed full-time at Methodist Atascosa. In the event that all County Ambulances are assigned to other calls, Lonestar Ambulance has agreed to assist with any pending 911 calls in the County, if available. Lonestar Ambulance will only be contacted at the request of the EMS Director subject to legal review and approval of the County Attorney's Office.
