Cude to sign the Certifications and Assurances and the Resolution.

Discuss and/or take appropriate action to approve the submission of the Unclaimed Property Capital Credits for Counties and, if approved, authorize County Judge Weldon P. Cude to sign the attached. This is an annual process, in conjunction with Local Government Code, Section 381.004, Texas Property Code, Section 74.602 authorizes the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (Comptroller's office) to allocate a portion of the unclaimed capital credits received from electric cooperatives back to the counties in the cooperatives' service area.

Discuss and/or take appropriate action concerning approval of disbursement of pre-trial diversion funds as authorized by Art. 102.0121 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and approval of a check to be written from the Pre-Trial Miscellaneous Fund line item 053-400-625, in the amount of $10,500.00 for FY 2026 3rd quarter payment for services provided to Atascosa by the CSCD, as specified in the Interlocal Agreement.  This has been sent to the County Attorney for review and approval.

Discuss and/or take appropriate action to accept the Public Defender Oversight Board's recommendation for the interim Chief Public Defender to be Stephanie Graham-Esparza with an interim stipend of $8,000.00 annually, $307.69 per pay period, (FI Rate $307.6923 per pay period) to be paid out of the Chief salary line.

Discuss and/or take appropriate action concerning the 2027 Atascosa County Resolution with the Texas Indigent Defense Commission (TIDC), Indigent Defense Improvement Grant Program, to provide improvements in Indigent defense services in the county and authorize Atascosa County Judge Weldon P. Cude to sign the Resolution and the Internet Submission Form on behalf of the County.

Judge Cude: Discuss and/or take appropriate action to approve the re-advertisement and solicitation of sealed bids for the El Oso Water Supply Cooperation's Fashing-Peggy Water Plant System Improvements Project funded through the Texas Department of Agriculture's TxCDBG Program, Grant #CDV23-0227.
