The plan coverage is from October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027. Atascosa County cost increase for the 2026-2027 plan year is 4.0%. The previous plan year cost increase was 1.7%.

Discuss, consider, and take action to approve the IT Governance Policy, assign administrative supervision of the County IT Director to the County Auditor, and establish the County IT Advisory Committee as an advisory body for countywide information technology matters.

Sheriff Jake Guerra completed 24 hours of education at the 40th Annual Texas Jail Association Conference on May 4–8, 2026.

The Regular Session of Atascosa County Commissioners Court will now recess in order to convene in Executive Session according to Texas Government Code 551.071 and 551.074 to discuss personnel and other matters with the County Attorney’s office.

B. Discuss and Update on pending litigation matters. 

C. Discuss and consider personnel matters regarding the Justice of the Peace Precinct No. 4 office.
