In accordance with Texas Government Code 614.051 regarding the purchase of a firearm by an honorably retired peace officer, the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office respectfully requests that the Atascosa County Commissioner's Court approve the sale of a Glock model 22, Serial Number EBT294, to retired Deputy Sheriff Paul Schneider. Deputy Sheriff Paul Schneider was commissioned by the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office and honorably retired on December 31, 2024. The firearm in question is not classified as a prohibited weapon under Section 46.05 of the Texas Penal Code. The cost of the weapon will be determined by the Commissioner's Court. |
