Cude to sign the Resolution and the Internet Submission Form on behalf of the County. 
 
B.  Discuss and/or take appropriate action concerning the 2026 Atascosa County Resolution with the Texas Indigent Defense Commission (TIDC), Indigent Defense Improvement Grant Program, to provide defense positions that participate in Mental Health (MH) court programs in Atascosa County and authorize Atascosa County Judge Weldon P. Cude to sign the Resolution and the Internet Submission Form on behalf of the County.

Cude to sign the renewal agreement.  The plan coverage is from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.  Atascosa County's increase for the 25-26 plan year is 1.7%; the prior year was 1.8%.  See attached.

The Regular Session of Atascosa County Commissioners Court will now recess in order to convene in Executive Session according to Texas Government Code 551.071 and 551.074 to discuss personnel matters and 551.072 deliberations about real property.
