Subject
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the following contracts or agreements to be approved and/or ratified:
(a) Enter a Memorandum of Understanding Between Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Burnet County concerning hiring an assistant county agent (Wilson);
(b) Enter Guardian RFID System Agreement Addendum B Amendment, effective August 14, 2026, with the Burnet County Jail, amending the contract approved by Commissioners Court on May 12, 2026, to add one Lease Spartan and Mobile Command XR Software License, in an amount not to exceed $1,401.25, funded through the ViaPath Technology Grant (Wilson);
(c) Enter an Amendment to Agreement with Levy Architects, PLLC for the Burnet County – Briggs Community Center to restructure the application of fees under the current contract, with no additional cost to Burnet County (Wilson);
(d) Enter an Amendment to the Engagement Agreement providing legal services to the county on the proposed 765kV transmission line with The Law Office of Margaret Uhlig Pemberton supplementing payment terms between Ms. Pemberton and Burnet County (Wilson);
(e) Enter a Professional Services Agreement between Clyde Pehl and Burnet County to administer the Vetride Program (Wilson);
(f) Enter an Independent Contractor Agreement between Doyle Erwin and Burnet County to be an independent driver for the Vetride Program (Wilson);
(g) Enter an Independent Contractor Agreement between Mary C Erwin and Burnet County to be an independent driver for the Vetride Program (Wilson);
(h) Enter an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Mason County and Burnet County for Jail Services for the term of September 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with a per diem rate from Mason County for detention services at $85 per man-day;
(i) Enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the Heart of Texas Auto Theft Task Force (MVCPA) between Burnet County and the City of Waco for the term of September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with funding provided through the MVCPA grant awarded to Burnet County to include an officer into the program from the City of Waco (Wilson); and
(j) Enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Burnet for Facility Rental Application and Agreement for the December 14, 2026, Employee Appreciation Brunch (Wilson).
