Subject
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the following grants to be approved and/or ratified:
(a) Approval to apply for the Joint Commission on Mental Health "JCMH" Grant for Burnet County Court at Law with the maximum award of $280,500, with no match requirement;
(b) Approval to adopt a resolution and apply for the FY 27 TIDC Texas Indigent Defense Grant Program to fund an appellate attorney for the Public Defender's Office, with a requested award of $188,137.79 and a required match of 20%;
(c) Approval to adopt a resolution and apply for the FY 27 TIDC Texas Indigent Defense Grant Program to fund a mental health attorney for the Public Defender's Office, with a requested award of $181,592.79 and a required match of 20%; and
(d) Approval to adopt a resolution and apply for the FY 27 Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority (MVCPA) Catalytic Converter Grant for Burnet County's Heart of Texas Auto Theft Task Force, with a maximum award of $160,444.20 and a required match of 20%.
