The agenda packet is also posted on the county website at www.burnetcountytexas.org, under Public Meetings. A hard copy of the agenda packet is available in the County Clerk's office. Local Provider Participation Fund ("LPPF")

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the following public hearing: 

Pursuant to Chapter 300 of the Texas Health & Safety Code, the Burnet County Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing to discuss, consider, and take action addressing the following: 
  1. Creation of the Burnet County local provider participation fund;
  2. Adoption of the Burnet County Health Care Provider Participation Program Rules and Procedures;
  3. Designation of at least one bank as the depository for mandatory payments received by Burnet County under the local provider participation fund;
  4. The requirement that each institutional healthcare provider submit a copy of any financial and utilization data required by and reported to the Department of State Health Services under Texas Health & Safety Code Sections 311.032 and 311.033; and
  5. All other actions necessary to comply with Texas Health & Safety Code Section Chapter 300.
In the event that the Burnet County Commissioners Court votes to create the local provider participation fund, then the Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 300 of the Texas Health & Safety Code to hear public comments and consider action concerning the amount of the mandatory provider participation payments that Burnet County intends to require of all local hospitals in fiscal year (FY) 2025 and how the revenue derived from those payments is to be spent.
